My art training began in the 80's with Robert Stoller, noted artist, teacher and friend. While continuing my art studies at Pierce Community College in Woodland Hills, California, I became involved with the College’s art gallery and was the founding president of the Friends of the Art Gallery at Pierce. Its purpose was to raise funds for the Gallery’s operations. For many years I chaired the annual community art show, Art of Our Generations, at the Finegood Gallery in West Hills, California. Currently I am serving on the boards of Women Painters West, Collage Artists of America and a member of Southern California Women's Caucus for Art.
